INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE JOHN MURPHY CONDEMNS WAR SPENDING BILL
BOTH WAR PARTIES AGREE TO CONTINUE WARS THROUGH JUNE 2009 WAR PARTIES TELL SEVENTY PERCENT OF AMERICAN PEOPLE TO GO POUND SAND CHESTER COUNTY, PA – Yesterday the leaders of the Democrats and Republicans in the House reached an agreement they believed President Bush would sign. Even though 70% of the American people have long since demanded that our troops be brought home from Iraq, both sides of the war party have told the American people, “to go pound sand; we don’t care what you want; we are getting millions of dollars from AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) to continue the war”, according to Independent Congressional candidate John Murphy. The bill would provide another $165 billion to the Pentagon to fund military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan for about another year. Both McCain and Obama, contrary to the will of the American people, have promised to keep our troops in Iraq indefinitely. “Obama plans to send troops to Kuwait and increase the military by 98,000 more troops” said John Murphy. “Both candidates continue to threaten Iran using lies similar to those both parties told about Iraq. All we hear about is Iran’s nuclear program but both the CIA and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) say that Iran is 10 years away from a nuclear weapon. So is Ephrata Pennsylvania” continued Murphy. “The people running our government are sick. They are pathological liars and mass murderers and adding insult to injury, the way the agreement was reached between both sides of the war party was by cutting out a program that would have provided heating subsidies this winter for the poor. Not only are both parties conspiring to continue committing mass murder in Iraq and Afghanistan but they are doing it at the expense of the most needy here at home. This should come as no surprise since most Americans expected change when the Democrats took over congress in 2006 but all they got was more of the same. Obama promises change also and if you believe him then I have a super deal on some Enron stock for you along with a bridge in Brooklyn” added Murphy. “Congressional Democrats who were elected to end the war have even dropped provisions aimed at curbing Bush's ability to freely conduct the war. We continue to vote for Democrats and Republicans year after year. One definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. If we continue to vote for these two parties we deserve exactly what we get” concluded John Murphy the Independent candidate for House of Representatives in the 16th Congressional District of Pennsylvania.
Thank you, John Murphy
